With a curatorial mission of spreading the stories of excellent Chinese culture far and wide, the museum’s inaugural exhibition will showcase numerous national first-class cultural relics alongside contemporary art works by renowned artists around the world.

Created jointly by Poly Culture Group, a leading state-owned enterprise in China’s cultural sector, and MGM MACAU, the POLY MGM MUSEUM presents its inaugural exhibition, “The Maritime Silk Road — Discover the Mystical Seas and Encounter the Treasures of the Ancient Trade Route”.

Centered around the theme of the Maritime Silk Road, this exhibition was a collaborative effort between nearly 20 state-owned museums and international arts and cultural institutions. With over 400 works on display, including nearly 30 national first-class cultural relics, with the highlight being the four Bronze Heads of Zodiac Animal sculptures from the Old Summer Palace, the immersive and culturally-rich exhibition will take visitors on a journey through space and time along the past, present and future of this vital oceanic trade route.
